How to delete your account

In the Resumás app. Go to Profile, then Legal & account, then Delete my account.
On the website. Sign in at dash.resumas.com, then Account, then Profile, then Close account.
If you cannot sign in. Use the form below. We email a link to the address on the account to confirm the request, and we reply within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile and everything you saved in Resumás.

Account profile, resumes, career content, saved jobs, application records, AI inputs and outputs: While the account is active; deleted or deidentified within 30 days after a verified deletion request unless a narrow legal exception applies

What is kept, and for how long

A few records are kept after your account is deleted, only for the reasons and for the time shown here.

Third-party AI request content: Up to 30 days at OpenAI, as described in Section 6
Transaction and tax records: Up to 7 years, or longer if legally required; retained records are restricted to compliance purposes
Support communications: Up to 3 years after the matter closes unless needed longer for a legal or security matter
Security, access, and fraud logs: Normally up to 12 months; longer only for an active investigation, legal requirement, or security defense
Backups: Removed through scheduled rotation within 90 days after deletion from active systems unless technically isolated and retained longer solely for disaster recovery

Account deletion

What happens when you delete your account

Account deletion permanently removes access to your Resumás profile and account content, including saved resumes, career information, job-search records, saved jobs, applications, and account-scoped AI inputs and outputs.

Resumás may retain limited records only when necessary for tax, payment, fraud-prevention, security, legal-compliance, or legal-claim purposes. Retained records are restricted to those purposes and deleted when the applicable retention period ends.

Subscription reminder

Deleting your account cancels your Resumás subscription.
